We own a ground-mount PV array that produces electricity for our 2-family household. We were interested in adding battery storage to optimize the system, save money, and integrate with the charging station for our two plug-in cars. We are on a net-metered rate that made the analysis and design challenging. NuWatt Energy's solar specialist Uzair Ahmad worked with us and developed a system design and quote. He was great to work with, backed up by the company's engineering staff. Uzair listened to me carefully and went through a number of iterations to refine his design. Our system required an outside-the-box solution. He was always responsive whenever I had a question. I could not have been happier with his service.

As a beginner in learning about solar energy Uzair was informative, knowledgeable, and honest in answering our questions. He spent the time necessary and with great patience in Google meetings to explain the process and the reasonings we needed to apply to our own solar setup to help us make an informed decision to invest in a solar system. In addition to the meetings, he sent us educational information to further our knowledge of clean energy credits, details of the panels and the inverters. Phone meeting was informative, and all questions were answered. While receiving assurances about installation, prefer a company that has staff installers. Was favorably impressed with the panel quality and knowledge of the product.

I used NuWatt Energy for our residential install of a rooftop solar system and a 7-room heat pump installation to convert our house from oil heat to electric. I have been extremely satisfied with their team and their work and would recommend them. We started engaging with them through energysage in scoping out the solar project. We selected them among several other competitors as I preferred their design and product and simple, straightforward approach. They were able to schedule the project within a few months and we were up and running faster than I could've imagined. They took care of all the details that they could and the install was fast and easy. After realizing we were working with a great team, we decided to request a quote for a heat pump installation to take the next step in our plan. They performed equally well on that project, work was done very well, and everything is up and running as expected. They also handled almost all of the rebate processing which took a huge load off. Highly recommended, no regrets.
