Not sure they are part of scam

The contractor I was working with turned out ro be a scam. He used Almika Renewable Finance LLC. They released funds to him before he finished job, but never bothered to contact me to see if he had actually completed the work. Then I emailed them numerous times about it, by the time they had actually responded with yes we know he has a reputation of not completing contracts I had already paid for and completed what I needed done, the water heater was supposed to have been replaced which wasn't so when it finally went I had more damage to fix plus replacing the water heater. I told them I would be happy to discuss paying for what he actually finished and they could write off the rest, but now I fell like they are just as much scam artist as he was. They only want you to do a automatic withdrawal, which is another reason I feel like it is a scam. They really need to make 0 stars an option on these things because 1 star is too much.
