Tampa Bay Solar

I recently contracted for a solar installation on my house in Lee County, Florida. EnergySage was instrumental in getting offers from six companies. I made my final selection based on the value for money of the offered components (solar panels, of course, but also (micro)inverters and the attachment to the roof) and the professionalism of the staff I interacted with. I just signed a contract with Tampa Bay Solar for my home currently under construction. Sharon was extremely helpful in answering my many questions and helping me decide on the best system for my new house. I could tell she has a lot of experience in this area and in working with new builds, which was very helpful. She took the time to educate me on my options and the pros and cons of different systems. I look forward to continuing to work with them as we move forward with installation.

Tampa Bay Solar is an excellent company to work with. Sharon is excellent; good to work with, a tough negotiator, and does what she says. The crews and the work they are very professional. I love the fact that they are Veteran owned and making a difference!

Sharon was a great salesperson. She was honest and straight forward. We had 5 other companies give us estimates. They all tried different techniques which hid built in costs and they overestimated the cost savings. One company was keeping the Tax Credit. Another estimated the savings and when I pinned them down as to how they were going to do that. They said we had to have a new pool pump, new water heater, and insulate the attic. Tampabay Solar's owner is a retired Navy Seal. He cares about our community. Two Police officers were killed in the line of duty and they put solar panels on their homes for free. The installation crew was quick and did a good job. I found one problem and they were out the next day to fix it.

I had my Solar system installed a few weeks ago (kudos to James and his team by the way) and after a storm last week it went down. So on the 4th, company closed, I needed help to get my system back up and running. I emailed the two addresses I had and received a response from Steve the owner. He walked me through the reset and my panels were producing soon after. Thanks Steve, appreciate your speedy response and customer focus.

In 2018 Tampa Bay Solar installed a 30 panels system on my roof, did a good job, and a few months later my (retired) parents also bought a smaller system (14 panels) and we've both been happy with our purchases. My parents recently needed a small repair to the inverter and the repair tech from Tampa Bay Solar fixed it 2 days later, under warranty.
