Workmanship Warranty

Installer, for a period of ten (10) years, warrant that Customer’s PV System will be designed, engineered and constructed to meet the requirements of the Installation Agreement and is capable of operating free of major defects and in accordance with all PV System manufacturer specifications. Installer further warrants that the Work, and each item of the PV System incorporated therein, will be new, will be of suitable grade of their respective kinds for their intended use as specified herein, will be performed according to all manufacturer specifications, will be free from defects in design, engineering, materials, construction, and workmanship, and shall conform in all respects to all applicable requirements of applicable laws, all governmental approvals, the plans and specifications prepared in accordance with this Agreement, and all descriptions set forth herein, applicable engineering and construction codes and standards, and all other requirements of the Installation Agreement.

Beware Maintenance Costs

Three years after the installation, I have run into my first failed component. The microinverter failed a few months ago and the alerts that were provided last month did not help (telling me there was low solar production at 8PM or when it was cloudy). I found out the microinverter was the issue and started the process to get it repaired. Apparently you will go through Enphase first and then BR. The part was covered by warranty, so Enphase sent me the component and told me to schedule it through BR. I contacted BR and they told me it would cost me $550 to replace this component that is still under warranty. They told me that I could do it myself and there are YouTube videos detailing the process. The replacement was fairly simple and took me less than 2 hours. Upon power the system back on, the Gateway would not connect back to the Enphase cloud. It would connect to my Internet and then fail. After troubleshooting with Enphase, they told me the Gateway needed to be replaced and luckily it is still covered by warranty. When I contacted BR to schedule the replacement, they told me it was $350 for one technician to do 2 hours of work. This is all on top of the remaining $20K loan I have from the installation. The payment has to be submitted upfront before they will schedule the maintenance. All of this seems like a scam and I'm hoping there will be a class action lawsuit against this company for deceptive and monopolizing practices. There is no way a solar technician should cost $175 an hour to replace a part that is covered by warranty. I would not use BR in the future and will be looking into other options for any future repairs seeing as how this is almost another $1K for maintenance just 3 years after the initial installation.

High pressure sales

Ended up going with another company (sunpath) since they offered a larger system for about $3k less with a no pressure sales approach. The only reason for my 2 star review was the super high pressure sales approach. I had to sign to start the process, when they had just given the price literally 5 minutes prior.

Extremely Satisfied

I had an incredible experience with Blue Raven Solar from start to finish. The entire team was professional, knowledgeable, and truly dedicated to making the process seamless. Their consultant, Mantas (Matt) Makaras explained everything clearly, from the installation process to the financial savings, and made sure I felt confident every step of the way. Matt was genuinely invested in helping me understand the benefits of going solar and stayed engaged throughout the entire process. The installation was done efficiently and on schedule. Their customer service was excellent – any questions I had were promptly answered (no long hold times), and they kept me informed at every step of the installation process. I'm excited to see significant savings on my electric bills, and it’s nice to know that I am contributing to a greener planet. Blue Raven Solar delivered on every promise and exceeded my expectations!

Amazing company

Wonderful customer service. Exception deal and great install team. Very professional. Would highly recommend. The consultation was not pressuring and the sales team did a great job explaining everything. The install team was clean and answered all of my questions.
